At the helm of Mark Roads is Bruce Belton, a trailblazer in the road marking industry since 1984.
With a career spanning more than 40 years, Bruce has worked his way from apprentice to owner-operator, gaining deep industry knowledge and respect every step of the way.

Today, Bruce is recognised as a NZTA-certified Testing and Issuing Officer for T/8 and T/12 road marking plant - bringing expert-level technical oversight to every project
 and remains actively involved in industry best practices as a former Chair of the New Zealand Road Markers Federation.

Bruce has been highly commended for training and development within the Road Marking industries of New Zealand and Australia
and has received an Achievers Award for Occupational Safety and Health, reflecting his deep commitment to building capability in others and ensuring safety is never compromised
- a true testament of his dedication to quality, mentorship and workplace safety.

Despite his credentials, Bruce is never one to sit back. Bruce still enjoys being on the tools, leading the Mark Roads team by example with a hands-on approach and a sharp eye for detail.

Leroy brings a wealth of experience and a calm, organised presence to his role as Office Manager.
With a professional background in library services and tertiary education, Leroy has developed a strong foundation in administration, information management and team support.
Known for his approachable nature and steady leadership, Leroy ensures the smooth running of our office environment and supports the wider team with efficiency and care.
His ability to adapt, problem-solve, and keep things moving behind the scenes makes him an invaluable part of our organisation.

Overseeing the Bay of Plenty team is operations lead, McLean.
A natural leader who values people by mentoring new operators and fostering relationships with Council, contractors and private clients.
His ethical approach, clear communication and understanding of the road marking industry lends to providing practical and efficient solutions gained through ten years of experience.
